Craven Landscape Architecture was formed in 1988 by Tom Craven with the intent to provide professional landscape design services to residential clients who may prefer to install their own landscaping as well as to a variety of landscape contractors on a per project basis. Building on that premise the firm grew into a full-service professional organization with a diverse list of clientele including municipal, corporate and private individuals.

Our services include:

• Professional, Award winning landscape design and site planning for private, corporate and governmental clients.
• Analysis of site qualities and determination of potential development.
• Prepare, formulate and review criteria for master and site plans of public or private land development.
• Project management of private, public or commercial land planning and construction projects. Will handle bidding, scheduling / coordination and on-site inspection as the client's agent.
• Consultation as a professional advisor on an ongoing or per project basis.

Tom Craven brings more than 18 years experience in Landscape Architecture with emphasis on design and on-site inspection as well as project management and implementation.

He has spent over 12 years on the City of Reading City Council Zoning and Planning Committee. He initiated and oversaw the comprehensive updating and codification of the city's zoning code. As chairman of this committee he met with residents, developers and builders to discuss conflict resolution and to make recommendations to city council and as a result he has developed the reputation in the Tri-State area as a hard-nosed advocate of zoning. Tom holds a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the The Ohio State University. Tom is a licensed  landscape architectm and a member of the American Association of Landscape Architects.
